ANCIENT LETTERS

There are so many mysteries in this world, so many places that have archaeologist scratching their heads, so many objects and sites that make us believe we are not alone. And I do believe we are not alone, but are we able to tell how close we are to those "aliens". They might look very different to what we think, they might look just like us, who is to tell?

This story is set in Peru, I traveled the area a few years ago and have been reading about the ancient culture of the region. Every corner of the Inca Empire is amazing, however there are a lot of mysteries regarding the Sacsayhuaman Area. To this day, archaeologist cannot explain how this site was built, as the stone blocks are huge and extremely heavy in order for men without heavy machinery, to move around and build the structures we see today.

Some claim that they developed a heating technique to melt the stone and shape it as jigsaw-polygonal and cooled next to other blocks. This technique also gave it a glassy and smooth finish. We still don't know what this technique is.

If you thought the above is amazing, I'll blow your mind by telling you that it is believed that  the curious angles formed by these stones reveal ancient Inca knowledge of astronomical alignments of the moon, sun and the earth, as well as knowledge of lunar and solar eclipses.

It is also believed that the Sacsayhuaman Temple may contain a 30,000 year-old geometrical writing based on the motion of the sun and moon. This discovery (if proven) might change our history as we know it. This kind of "geometrical writing" is also found in Lascaux and Chauvet caves in Europe, The African carved Ishango tally bone, and a circa 30,000 year-old carved stone found at the Shuidonggu Palaeolithic site in China

Others claim that this sites were built with help of unknown technologies. The precision with which they were built and with such limited tools, still amazes Engineers today. When you are there you can feel the power of the place, there is so much energy accumulated in these walls, and also so much history. The question is still the same: How were they built?
